In 2024, Sofitel is set to embark on an extraordinary journey as it celebrates its 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee. To celebrate, Sofitel Adelaide and Sofitel Hotel & Spa Queenstown are teaming up to put on two extravagant events in Garcon Bleu.


Four Hands Dinner

Join us for a festive evening in the glittering surrounds of Garcon Bleu. Our Four Hands Dinner will be a spectacle of fine French cuisine with an extensive four-course menu that will include Southern King Salmon and New Zealand Lumina Lamb. Our in-house Sommelier has expertly paired each course with a premium wine to complete your meal.

Four Hands Lunch

Escape to the lofty heights of Level 9 at Garcon Bleu, and spend your Friday afternoon at our Four Hands Lunch. With three delicious courses that will each be paired with premium wines, our Four Hands Lunch is the ideal way to celebrate this special occasion. We will be holding a silent auction at the event with all proceeds going to The Village Co.

Chef Gianni Delogu

Gianni has been leading the Garcon Bleu team since the restaurant’s inception and is responsible for bringing their food philosophy to life. Hailing from Sardinia in the Mediterranean, Gianni’s love affair with food began from childhood. He honed his skills in Michelin-starred restaurants across the UK, Europe and Asia before settling in Adelaide. Gianni draws inspiration from visits to local vineyards and regions which is reflected in his simple yet elegant menus. He appreciates and celebrates the incredible quality and variety of produce within South Australia.


Chef Lindsay Bennett

Currently serving as the Executive Chef of Sofitel Hotel & Spa Queenstown, Lindsay is highly accomplished with a rich culinary background. He began an extensive apprenticeship in the NZ Armed Forces, has worked in hotels and local restaurants, and has also ventured into owning and operating an award-winning restaurant. The former New Zealand Chef of the Year has an unwavering commitment to showcasing exquisite flavours of the region. Lindsay artfully combines the bountiful produce of the area with a mature, modern style, whilst still embracing traditional techniques.
