ANASTASIA will make its highly anticipated Adelaide premiere at the Festival Theatre in August 2026, bringing the beloved Broadway production to life for local audiences.

Inspired by the legendary story of Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov and the 1997 Oscar-nominated animated film, the musical follows Anya, a young woman searching for her past as she journeys from the twilight years of the Imperial rule to the glamour of 1920s Paris. Along the way, she is joined by unlikely companions in a story filled with adventure, heart, and discovery.

Featuring a Tony Award-winning creative team, breathtaking costumes, and iconic songs including Once Upon a December and Journey to the Past, ANASTASIA is a lavish and emotional theatrical experience celebrating hope, identity, and belonging.
