We’re proud to be partnering with Starlight Children’s Foundation for our Melbourne Cup Lunch.
Starlight’s mission is to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families. We know that happiness matters to sick kids. By improving their mental and social wellbeing, we can give them a positive impact on their overall physical health.
For over 30 years, Starlight has worked in partnership with health professionals to bring the fun, joy and laughter that helps sick kids be kids. They create experiences and moments that help children of all ages regardless of their disability, injury or illness because what happens in childhood lasts a lifetime, and every child should have a happy childhood.
Starlight is the broadest reaching children’s charity in Australia and are recognised as an integral part of the national healthcare system. From one Starlight Wish granted more than 30 years ago, they now create over half a million Starlight Experiences to sick kids and teenagers each year across Australia. They also support clinics and health professionals in remote communities to help boost participation in healthcare.
We will be donating a portion of our ticket sales and sweeps to Starlight Children’s Foundation. There will also be opportunities for others to do so at the event.
